Ebates

This post has nothing to do with crafting or bows.  I wanted to share a link with my very few followers about Ebates.  I always see these commercials on t.v. but never thought it would work.  I signed up about a month ago and have already earned $10.  All you have to do is give them your email and a password to sign up.  Every time you want to buy something online go to Ebates first then find your store and start shopping through an open Ebates ticket.  You will get a certain percentage of your purchase back.  Every three months they mail you a check for the total amount you have accrued.

Etsy Shop

I've decided to open up an Etsy shop.  I shop on Etsy frequently and decided to give it a try.  My store is Sweet Cheeks Bows.  I didn't get the Bowtique name (long story).  Here is a link to my shop if you want to check it out.  I only have headbands listed right now.  I'm working on taking new pictures and posting items.  It's a big work in progress so please be patient with me.  I am also working on a new banner for the shop.  I just threw that one up there to give it a name. 

Also, I have transferred my Paypal account to the Etsy shop and I can't use it for my website.  So you can no longer order off the website.  I don't think that will be a big deal.  From what I got from that a lot of people were using it to see the bows but then would just email me what they wanted.  That was fine but I'm not going to worry about keeping up with it.  I'm also considering dropping the bowtique name and just using the Sweet Cheeks Bows.  I recently realized that someone has ripped off that other name anyways.  That's kind of a bummer but at least I have this one now!

I'll try to update everything I'm doing on here.  My entire family has been sick the whole month of February so I haven't been doing much with anything.  I hope everyone had a great week and will have an even better weekend! 

Valentines Day's Coming

I have some great colors for Valentines day.  Here are some of the Korkers I've been working on. 

I love "Valentine's Day" colors.  Pinks and reds are my favorite.

Here are some other bows that I have been working on.  I posted a few days ago about the Bow Tie Bow.  Here are some large Bow Tie Bows.  I've made these with 2.25" grosgrain ribbon.  These are for girls who love the big southern bows covering their heads! 

You can't tell the size from this picture and don't you know I forgot to measure them before I sold them.  The next time I make one I'll measure it and post it on the website.

I'm Back!

It's been so long since I've been on here.  For those of you who don't know I'm 25 weeks pregnant!  The last 5 months I've been so sick I didn't even want to look at my computer.  I'm feeling better now so I'm back at it. 

I bring with me a couple of new bows that I've been working on.  Well, one is a headband.  I really like these bows on my daughter.  They're not big and fluffy but they look really cute.  I'm calling them the Bow Tie bow.  They are not exactly like bow ties but close enough.  Here is a picture of two that I made.

And here they are as a headband.

I have also been working on some new korkers.  I've made a few already.  The colors match outfits that you can buy at Target, Gymboree, and Children's Place. 

 I have a few more color combinations I'm working on.  I'll post them when I'm done with them.

All of these will be put on the website in a couple of days.

New Look. Again.

Sorry about the frequent changes in backgrounds.  I was trying to do something different and found a cute website to get free templates from.  I erased everything I had done and applied the template.  I liked it and was happy with it to be my background for a while.  Then a friend let me know that there was something wrong with my blog.  I logged on and saw that all of the images were gone.  Needless to say I will not be using Leelou blog designs anymore.  So for now this is what I have chosen and I will try not to change it for a while.
